This is the Silk Satin Ribbon (Double-Face) from SHINDO (S.I.C.). This series of products was created in response to demand from European fashion houses. Class 5 raw silk is used, and each stage, from refining and weaving to dying is undertaken in Japan to create this Japanese-made double-sided ribbon. We recommend using this for ribbons, or when you want to add a little extra impact. With a lovely satin shine, it also has a wonderful elasticity and springiness, which adds even more elegance. Try tying it around the waist as a belt. You can hear the sound of silk rubbing together when it’s tied, and and the loose ends drape down gorgeously.
